markPointTM provides a central online space for storing curriculum plans, assessments plans and assessment rubrics.
- Curriculum plans show what will be taught for a defined period;
- Assessment plans list all assessment tasks for each subject including: task descriptors, instructions, rubrics, exemplars, due dates and other relevant information;
- Assessment plans are automatically distributed to each student for each subject they study;
- Students review task requirements, check assessment guidelines and submit completed tasks online via their plan drop box;
- Submitted tasks are graded and comments added using online rubrics;
- Grades are automatically calculated for each task and for each assessment plan;
- A scheduler releases intermediate and final grades to the web site for authorized viewing;
- Grades can be optionally exported to an Excel spreadsheet or reporting system;
- Assessment plans of every student are permanently archived.
