MyAssessments is an assessment interchange space that supports online collaboration, sharing and development of assessment tasks between teachers and students.
Modern assessment practices require student progress to be tracked against defined curriculum standards or benchmarks. Students complete set assignments, extended essays and other tasks in counsel with their teachers to demonstrate acquired skills and proficiencies.
Teachers place assessment tasks, exemplars, assessment rubrics and support information from their MyStore into a MyAssessments active matrix, which can be generic for all students or tailored to suit the needs of individual students.
Students access their MyAssessments matrix, commence working on tasks and submit draft and final papers to their teachers from their MyStore. The submission process can be iterative allowing students to submit multiple drafts and to collaborate with their teacher and fellow students as their response develops.
Using an iterative process, students and teachers can conduct private discussions online to support the research and response development process. After final submissions are in, teachers can grade them and publish results back into the matrix.
Administrators, parents and other approved audiences can monitor and review content in each student's MyAssessments and students can share their results and provide access to their archived items through MyPresentations portfolios.
