MyPlans provide students and teachers with the opportunity to construct Personal Learning Plans that map the course of their education or professional development over time. PLPs can be a simple roadmap or an interactive space for comparing plans and expectations with actual outcomes. PLPs provide a fundamental evidence trail of learning experiences.
In the early years, standardized PLPs allow early chilhood teachers to capture evidence of learning experiences required by educational authorities.
Continuing through the middle school, teachers weave a tapestry of learning outcomes to be achieved by students in their classes and attach evidence to support each student's progress.
In the pre-tertiary years students play a more active role in planning their course of study based on career aspirations, as well as select subjects they are required to study to achieve their goals.
MyPlans is a space shared by teachers, students and parents. It holds each student's interactive learning pathway showing predetermined milestones, review points and monitoring stations, allowing students to plan for success and teachers and advisors to review individual progress and offer advice and guidance along the way.
