Credentials Module

Overview

Meeting internal and external compliance and reporting requirements is simplified and streamlined with the Xitracs™ Credentials module.

Complements existing data systems
Any existing faculty and course information can be imported directly, reducing the requirement for manual data entry. Additional information, such as faculty CVs, qualifications and course syllabi can be added quickly and easily. Faculty members and courses are assigned to departments and schools for downstream reporting. Courses are mapped to semesters and to the appropriate faculty member qualification.

Faculty

Qualifications, a CV document and other relevant information is added or edited by administrative personnel using the faculty details screen.

All data for a faculty member are presented clearly on the screen. Authorized users can add or update information by clicking on a function link. Courses taught by the faculty member in each semester are displayed and are then mapped to the appropriate qualification and compliance status. Additional information can be added at any time by using the edit function.

Courses

Course information is normally imported or may optionally be manually input for use in credentials reporting and faculty qualification mapping.

Catalog data
Course information is added to the Xitracs™ catalog and categorized by school and department.

Each course section can be mapped to a syllabus and faculty qualification. Each instance of a course (course section) is added to the catalog and linked to a semester. A course syllabus document can be added directly to a section or via the faculty information screen.

Reports

Agency submission and management reports are included as part of the credentials module.

Dynamic or Static
External agency reports may provide access to online information via a website or be in the form of published static data.

Credentials Online
Generates a website with online access to credentials information.

Credentials Report
Generates a PDF or RTF document, filtered by department and semester.

Missing Syllabus
Lists course sections that are missing a syllabus document.

Missing Credentials
Lists course sections that are not mapped to a faculty credential.
